What to expect for next year?
Ryan Howse was signed by the Flames to a three year entry level deal. He will likely start next year in the AHL.
Spencer Bennett was an overager this year in the WHL. He played 4 games for the Heat on an ATO (Amateur try-out) after the Vancouver Giants were eliminated from the WHL playoffs. He had 8 penalty minutes in those 4 games. The Flames need to sign him this off-season or they will lose his rights.
Reinhart, Leach, Ferland and Holland will all likely return to the WHL next year.
